Camway have recently completed a drainage and estate renewal project at Thames Wharf on behalf of the GLA. The project involved the removal of over 2,500 tonnes of silt from the existing drainage balancing ponds and clearance of trees and vegetation for future maintenance. The existing storm water drainage system was surveyed and repairs and a new outflow valve manufactured and fitted to the outflow pipe to the River Thames. This project, which was made difficult due to Thames Wharf being multi-occupied, was completed on time. The contract value was £ 955,000.
